While hydro-fracking is drawing most attention to the residents of Southeastern New York, some Penfield residents are stating there is the need for education and concern to the environmental impacts drilling could have on the Town and the region.
The Penfield Green Intitative recently held a educational forum that provided residents with an equal and educational perspective on the positive and negative aspects of hydrofracking. Guests speakers included, professor Josh Goldowitz of the Rochester Institute of Technology, and professor Jordon Kleiman of SUNY Geneseo.
The Penfield Green Inititative produced this program for broadcast through Penfield TV to air on the Public Access Channel, Cable 15 and www.penfieldTV.org.
